In a broad daylight robbery Thursday, four brazen crooks broke into a Chanel store in Brooklyn and stole $5,000 worth of merchandise, police said.
Police said a group of men broke into a designer retailer on North Sixth Street near Berry Street in Williamsburg around 12:45 p.m. and began asking employees questions about random items. That’s what it means.
But instead of paying anything, they took items worth a total of $5,000 and drove off, police said.

The crew fled toward Bedford Street, where they were still relaxing Thursday night.
One suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket and gray sweatpants, a second suspect was seen wearing a gray hoodie and red pants, and a third suspect was seen wearing a black jacket, police said. The fourth person was said to have been wearing all black during the afternoon push-up.
Chanel’s Williamsburg location opened just last year on a street already lined with designer brand stores. suppressed report.
