After Bushnell self-immolated, many of his Reddit posts were discovered and circulated online. These included statements defending Hamas’ killing of innocent civilians, including a young woman who was attending a music festival during the attack. He posted: “People’s enjoyment at the music festival was built on the suffering of Palestinians in particular. There are no innocent civilians in this country. [settler] Colonialism. Being a colonizer is inherently violent. ”
