President Joe Biden opened his State of the Union address on Thursday with partisan topics: Ukraine, January 6, and abortion.
The partisan structure of the speech is in line with Biden’s radical left base, but it may not appeal to those who have been looking for a unifying speech from the president.
Ukraine stated:
Overseas, Russian President Vladimir Putin is on the march, invading Ukraine and wreaking havoc across Europe and beyond.
If anyone in this room thinks President Putin is going to stop by Ukraine, I assure you he won’t.
But if we support Ukraine and give it the weapons it needs to defend itself, Ukraine will be able to stop Putin. That’s all Ukraine wants. They’re not looking for American soldiers.
January 6th:

abortion:
Many of you in this chamber and my predecessor have committed to passing a national reproductive freedom ban.
God, what freedom will you take away next?
In its decision overturning Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court majority wrote:
