Former New York Congressman George Santos, who was expelled from the House last year, has announced that he will run for Congress again.

But this time he will run in the first race in New York.cent Congressional District.

“Tonight I would like to announce that I am returning to the political stage and challenging Nick in the battle for #NY1,” Santos wrote on X. he is a republican. The fight to protect our nation’s majority is essential to our nation’s survival. ”

Santos will be challenging U.S. Rep. Nick Larota of New York. The two have been at odds for months. The day before he was expelled from Congress, Santos called Larota a “carnivore.”

“Since my arbitrary resignation, there has been no real conservative representation in New York, thanks to RINOs and empty suits like Nick Larota,” Santos said in a post on X. the future of this country for his own political gain. ”

New York state primary election is June 25thth. There is currently no Republican challenger to LaLota.

Santos’ announcement came after a surprise appearance at the Capitol to watch Joe Biden’s State of the Union address. It was his first time entering the chamber since he was expelled from parliament.
