Former President Donald Trump paid nearly $92 million in bail in a defamation lawsuit involving his accuser E. Jean Carroll.
President Trump plans to appeal an $83.3 million fine awarded in January for making defamatory comments while denying Carroll’s rape accusations.
A federal court in New York received notice of the bond and Trump’s appeal Friday morning.
