With the huge success of several Bible-based shows already evident, Netflix is now venturing into faith-based programming with a new series depicting the Bible and the life of Jewish leader Moses.
of 3-part series We followed Moses as he came before the Pharaoh of Egypt and demanded that he free his people and lead the Jews out of Egypt. IndieWire reports that the series is not only dramatic, but also features expert accounts of leaders’ lives and their impact on the world.
Experts tell the story of Moses’ life from sources such as the Bible, the Koran, and the Torah.
The series is produced by Karga Seven Pictures, which also produces similar explorations of historical figures and events, including: Rise of Empires: The Ottoman Empire, the Unexplored World, and the Hunt for the Zodiac Killerand Bin Laden’s hard disk Among many others.
Each 80-minute episode of the series is directed by BBC director and creator Benjamin Ross. frankenstein chroniclesand will premiere on March 27th.

A three-part series about Moses also follows the phenomenal success of the TV series. Chosen persona series that follows the life of Jesus of Nazareth and the 12 disciples, has had four high ratings to date.
