New Yorkers might want to start counting sheep early Saturday night, as it will rain as the clock ticks down.
Overnight, by Sunday, clocks could be off by up to 2 inches as clocks are “advanced” by an hour for the start of the daylight saving time season, which officially begins at 2 a.m.
Up to 6 inches of snow could fall in parts of upstate New York and New England this weekend, while the Big Apple and other metro areas are poised for another wet weekend.
“The chances of seeing flakes here may be very low,” Fox Weather meteorologist Cody Blood told the Post.
A coastal flood advisory is in effect for most waterfront areas around the city, the Jersey Shore and the south coast of Long Island until noon Sunday as heavy rains and a full moon combine to draw in tides.
Parts of northern Queens, Long Island, Westchester, the Bronx and Fairfield counties are under enhanced flood watches.
The rain will ease by Sunday afternoon, but winds will pick up Sunday into Monday, with gusts near 45 mph possible.
Some areas in the Northeast could see more than 8 inches of rain as several different storm systems move through the region.
Temperatures during the week will be warmer than average, with highs in the city reaching around 60 degrees.
