Pentagon report says no evidence of UFOs, aliens, spacecraft

The Pentagon says there is no evidence that extraterrestrial life has visited Earth, and that the U.S. government is not conducting covert operations using recovered UFO spacecraft.

The Department of Defense released a 63-page document. report It was released Friday under the title “Report on the Historical Record of U.S. Government Involvement in Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs).”

Unidentified anomalous phenomenon is a relatively new term to describe UFOs, which include mysterious objects from the sky, water, and space.

The Department of Defense’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office examined data on UAPs from 1945 to October 2023.

“To date, AARO has found no empirical evidence that UAP sightings indicate the existence of extraterrestrial technology or sensitive programs that have not been properly reported to Congress,” the report said.

“Investigative efforts have determined that most sightings are the result of misidentification of ordinary objects or phenomena,” AARO said in a statement. “While many UAP reports remain unresolved, we believe that if additional high-quality data were available, most of these incidents could be identified as normal objects or phenomena and resolved. He rates AARO.”

The Pentagon has cited allegations that the U.S. government is running a secret program attempting to reverse engineer spacecraft from other worlds.

Pentagon spokesman Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said: statement“AARO believes that all of the hidden UAP reverse engineering programs named and described by interviewees do not exist, are genuine national security programs that are misidentified and have no connection to the exploitation of extraterrestrial technology. We evaluate it as either a security program or a solution to an unestablished program.”

Ryder added that a “rigorous analytical and scientific” investigation found no evidence that “the U.S. government and various contractors are recovering and concealing extraterrestrial technology or biological materials.”

AARO plans to issue a second volume of the report later this year, covering information collected since November 2023, and will include interviews with current and former U.S. government officials regarding UAPs.

There are government reports and Congressional testimony that suggest UFOs may exist.

In June 2021, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a preliminary assessment of UAPs that found 143 UAP encounters to be unexplained.

That same month, the NASA administrator said he doesn’t think we’ll be alone in space.

Tennessee Republican Rep. Tim Burchett said he believed UAPs were “something extragalactic” and claimed the government had “covered up” Roswell.

Last July, a former intelligence official claimed The government is hiding a top secret program focused on reverse engineering a spaceship from another planet.

The UFO whistleblower is David Grusch, a former National Reconnaissance Representative for the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Task Force, a former member of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and an Air Force veteran.

On Friday, the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office announced that it is developing a portable surveillance system to detect and document UAPs.

Tim Phillips, acting director of AARO, said: defense scoop According to the website, “We work with several government labs, including the Department of Energy’s lab, and we have a great partner with Georgia Tech. And what we’re doing is deployable… What we’re doing is developing a configurable suite of sensors that, in Pelican’s case, will be able to bring into the field and do long-term work. [collection]. ”

Phillips noted that the new sensor uses “hyperspectral surveillance” to attempt to capture UAP encounters that contain information across a wide range of wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum.

“If we have a national security presence and there is a report of an object moving within restricted airspace, within maritime range, or near a spacecraft, we need to understand what that is. ” continued Mr. Phillips. “That’s why we are developing sensor capabilities that can be deployed in response to reports.”
