Adult film star Sofia Leone was found “unresponsive” in her New Mexico apartment on March 1 and died while police investigated the cause of her death, her family announced.
She was 26 years old.
“Sofia was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend,” Leone’s stepfather, Mike Romero, wrote on a GoFundMe page set up in honor of the actress. .
“She had a deep love for all animals, especially her three pets. She loved to travel and always found a way to make those around her smile.”
Los Angeles-based modeling agency 101 Modeling, which is responsible for some of Leone’s bookings, said in a statement that it is investigating the adult film star’s death as a “robbery-murder.”

Romero also said on her GoFundMe page that the family is “seeking justice for Sofia.”
The newspaper has reached out to Albuquerque police for comment.
Brian Burke, who runs Leone’s Florida-based agency AMA Modeling, expressed his heartbreak over Leone’s death.
“At 18 years old you started working with me at AMA, and now at 26 years old I have to say goodbye,” Burke wrote. on X.
“We had a great bond. A constant reminder of how much we care. I was supposed to be your guardian angel. A part of me just disappeared. I love you.” I’m here, Sophia.”
The Miami-born porn star entered the industry in 2014 and has appeared in over 80 movies, according to her IMDb page.
Adult film star Gina Valentine wrote to X: “Speechless and heartbroken. I can’t believe what I’m seeing.”
“I don’t understand why you would be in this…and we can only pray that you are strong and brave in your final moments here…I hope you I hope you are not in pain.”
Adult film actress Valerie Castile wrote, “Rest in peace Sophia Leon.” She said: “You were so kind to me and one of the most wonderful people with a beautiful heart. We will miss you so much.”
News of Leone’s death comes just days after fellow porn star Emily Willis was found unresponsive at a Malibu rehab facility where she was being treated for addiction and was reported to be “fighting for her life.” It was done.
The 25-year-old adult film actress, whose real name is Lizzi Lala Banulos, was hospitalized at Celebrity Rehabilitation Center for eight days when her stepfather, Michael Willis, went into cardiac arrest on February 5th.
She is currently reported to be in a “vegetative coma.”
Her condition is stable, but the family is preparing for the worst, her stepfather said.
