A Missouri teen has been arrested after being accused of sending a Missouri girl to the hospital in critical condition after hitting her head on a sidewalk near a high school.
Officers with the St. Louis County Police Department responded to an ongoing dispute at an intersection near Hazelwood East High School on Friday.
Responding officers found a female juvenile suffering from “severe head trauma.” The girl was taken to an area hospital where she remains in “serious condition,” St. Louis County police told Fox News Digital on Sunday.
Police arrested a 15-year-old female suspect Saturday. She is currently being held in St. Louis County Family Court on assault charges.

Video footage of the incident shows a fight breaking out between a group of youths. One of the girls, who is black, dragged the other girl, who appeared to be white, to the ground before she screamed at her and slammed her skull into the pavement. The victim can be seen lying on the ground in shock as violent accusations continue around her.
