A woman has been wrongly charged in the United States after causing a head-on crash that killed a 12-year-old Missouri boy.
Travis Wolfe was one day shy of his 12th birthday when authorities say Endrina Bracho crashed head-on into the family’s car.
Authorities told FOX News Digital that Bracho, 33, was driving the wrong way on the highway at 70 mph in a 40 mph zone.
Wolf was seriously injured but survived the December 2023 crash in Hazlewood.

Wolf was rushed to the hospital and placed on life support. His parents were also taken to a local hospital with injuries to his wrist, broken ribs, and fractured sternum.
Wolfe later died at a hospital on March 6th.
“Yesterday (March 6th), Travis was taken off life support. He will forever be remembered as a funny kid with a big heart and a love of Blues hockey. As the bill continues to mount. , please continue to support the family,” said Andrea DeWeese. he wrote on a GoFundMe page set up for the Wolf family.

Bracho is currently being held in the St. Louis County Jail on $500,000 bail. She is charged with first-degree manslaughter, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of first-degree child endangerment and one count of operating a vehicle without a valid license.
The Hazelwood Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that Bracho is in the country illegally from Venezuela.

Hazelwood police hope Bracho’s arrest brings closure to the Wolf family.
“1,700 feet is a long distance to travel over 110 miles per hour on a 40-mile public road. That’s a long way to go in the wrong direction without realizing it,” said Sgt. Scott Schnarbusch of the Hazelwood Police Department told FOX 2.
