A 20-year-old Venezuelan woman has been arrested in connection with a brutal migrant gang that assaulted two police officers in Times Square, as police continue to search for two more suspects.
Brooklyn resident Edgaris Vegas was taken by police in midtown Manhattan shortly after 8:30 a.m. Monday on suspicion of assaulting a police officer stemming from a Jan. 27 scuffle, the NYPD said.
Las Vegas, who is originally from Venezuela, is accused of kicking a police inspector in a shocking attack that was captured on video.
