Karl Rove knocks Maher ‘dream’ Biden-Haley ‘unity ticket’

Republican strategist Karl Rove has dismissed comedian Bill Maher’s “dream” idea for a “unity ticket” featuring President Biden and former Republican presidential primary candidate and United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley.

“Bill Maher has a progressive mind, but Democrats will never get rid of Kamala Harris,” Rove said. said on monday in a clip hosted by Trace Gallagher on FOX News’ “The Story” and highlighted by Mediaite.

“And they’re never going to add conservative Nikki Haley as a candidate,” Loeb continued. “Bill, that’s a nice idea, but that’s never going to happen and Nikki Haley would be the first to say, ‘I’m not going to do that.'”

Ms. Rove’s comments were in response to a clip that aired just before Friday’s episode of Ms. Maher’s HBO show “Real Time with Bill Maher,” in which Ms. Haley suggested that she would run with Mr. Biden. He described it as his “dream and ticket to unification.”

“Then he will definitely win,” Maher continued.

Haley withdrew from the Republican presidential primary following the Super Tuesday primary, in which former President Trump won all but one race.

The morning after Super Tuesday, Haley said, “It’s up to Donald Trump to capture the votes of those who didn’t support him, both inside and outside his party. I hope he does.” he said. “The best thing about politics is bringing people to your cause, not pushing them away. And our conservative cause needs more people. Now he It’s time to choose.”

On the same day, Biden welcomed Haley’s supporters to the campaign trail, saying, “It takes great courage to run for president.”

“Nikki Haley has been willing to tell the truth about Trump, about the chaos that always follows him, about his inability to tell right from wrong, about how he cowers before Vladimir Putin,” Biden said in a statement. It’s about.”
