WATCH Heated debate Tulsi Gabbard former advisor Steve Deace

The California State Legislature has introduced a bill that would create a zero-cost “loan” on housing for undocumented immigrants. Steve Dees thinks it is what it is: a replacement.

“If this is not an alternative, what is the alternative explanation for what is happening at the border?” Diace asks Tulsi Gabbard’s former advisor Paul Alexander.

“I have a hard time understanding the displacement argument,” Alexander said, noting that he believes it is better to house undocumented immigrants than let them set up homeless encampments.

“We acknowledge that our options are limited unless federal agencies step in. Ending the sanctuary city policy would be a step in the right direction to curb future trends.” he added.

Alexander believes additional laws are needed to curb the problem at the border, but Todd Elzen disagrees.

“We already have a constitution and we already have laws. Borders can be closed at any time,” Elzen insisted, adding: “Enforce the laws.”

“I mean in the broader sense of being accepted by the broader public,” Alexander replies, but Elsen says it’s ridiculous to care more about how you’re perceived than what’s happening in real time. points out.

“It’s not like a girl is welcome to go jogging and not have her skull crushed,” Elsen said, referring to the recent murder of student Laken Riley by an illegal immigrant.

“Yes, I understand that,” Alexander says.

“It’s inhumane to try to keep dancing through raindrops with this. Raindrops are oozing from the sky. I don’t condone answers like this, it’s just inhumane,” Elzen replies. .
