As of now, Donald Trump will face Joe Biden in the 2024 election.
President Joe Biden won an overwhelming victory in the battleground state of Georgia on March 12, securing the Democratic nomination. That’s because several primaries were called later that night, and his rival, former President Donald Trump, won enough delegates to clinch the Republican nomination.
“At a time when the threat from President Trump is greater than ever, a broad coalition of voters representing the rich diversity of the Democratic Party across the country has once again trusted me to lead our party and our I am honored to have led the country,”’ President Biden said in a statement he shared with the White House when he became the presumptive Democratic nominee.
“I believe the American people will choose to continue moving us forward into the future. After every crisis, America has always come out stronger and more united on the other side. This November will be no exception. I believe we can make it happen together,” he said.
President Trump easily won Tuesday’s Republican primaries in Georgia, Mississippi and Washington.
