A new Kobe Bryant statue unveiled outside Crypto.com Arena in February appears to contain a spelling error that the Los Angeles Lakers plan to correct in the future.

Lakers spokesperson Said ESPN said it was aware of the mistake several weeks ago.
“We have been aware of this issue for several weeks and are already working to fix it immediately,” a spokesperson said.
A 19-foot-tall, 4,000-pound statue dedicated to Bryant was unveiled at a ceremony in February. Phil Jackson, Stu Lantz, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Derek Fisher and Lakers owner Jeanie Buss were in attendance.
