Chuck Norris celebrated his 84th birthday on Sunday, proving he’s still in good shape.
The martial artist and action star marked the occasion by sharing a video on Instagram of himself punching a punching bag on a lawn overlooking the ocean.
“You know, I’m 84 today, but I feel like I’m 48!” Norris declared with a laugh at the end of the video.

“God bless you,” he added.
“Feeling good and staying active!” the “Way of the Dragon” actor wrote in the caption of the post. “Thank you for the wonderful birthday wishes. God bless you.”

Norris’ post was quickly flooded with comments from his friends, fans and fellow fighters, many of whom marveled at his youthful appearance.
Dolph Lundgren, who co-starred with Norris in The Expendables 2, commented: “Happy birthday, Chuck. You look great! Dolph.”
“Happy Birthday, Chuck! You are a national treasure and a true inspiration. God bless you!” said Greg Laurie, pastor and author of “Jesus Revolution.” did.
“That’s him,” UFC champion Jon Jones chimed in, adding a hand-raised emoji.
Former MMA star Georges St-Pierre wrote, “Legend,” adding a fire emoji.
Seven-time Mr. Olympia champion Phil Heath commented: “You’re the man” with a flexed biceps emoji, while DJ Steve Aoki left a series of black heart emojis.

Many fans joked and put their own spin on the satirical internet trend “Chuck Norris Facts” inspired by the actor. “Facts” are exaggerated statements that emphasize the actor’s toughness and physical processes.
One fan commented: “Chuck Norris wears boxing gloves to protect his bag, not his hands.”
Another follower quipped: “Chuck Norris actually died 20 years ago…Death just hasn’t mustered up the courage to tell him yet.”

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Norris holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Tan Sue. After his discharge from the military, Norris began a career as a professional fighter, winning numerous titles.

Norris met martial arts icon and action star Bruce Lee at a karate tournament in 1964. The two struck up a friendship and began training together. Norris made his acting debut with a bit role in the 1968 spy comedy film The Wrecking Crew.
The actor became famous after Lee cast Norris as the character’s nemesis in the 1972 martial arts action comedy The Way of the Dragon. His career skyrocketed with the lead role in 1978’s The Good Guys Wear Black, and he became one of the action genre’s most bankable stars in the 1980s and 1990s.

Norris is also best known for appearing on the hit show Walker Texas Ranger, which aired for nine seasons from 1993 to 2001. In January, Norris announced that he would be returning to the big screen in the upcoming sci-fi action film Agent Recon. He shared a photo of himself from the movie holding his gun and another photo taken in a similar pose 40 years ago.
“This is a really cool parallel that I thought you guys would enjoy!” Norris wrote in the caption. “Almost 40 years apart. I can’t wait for everyone to see what’s in store for me in the upcoming Agent Recon movie. Coming soon!”
