Dallas police have confirmed they are investigating a sexual assault allegation filed against Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott on March 12, according to multiple reports.
The allegations were made by Mr. Prescott on Monday in Collin County, Texas, alleging that his accusers were trying to extort $100 million from him. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported..
A separate police investigation by the Prosper Police Department has been launched into the extortion charges.
The City of Dallas has launched a sexual assault investigation into an alleged incident that occurred in the parking lot of XTC Cabaret on February 2, 2017.
The complaint was filed Tuesday after Prescott filed a lawsuit against Victoria Shores and her attorneys the day before.
In an 11-page court filing by Prescott, Shores and her attorneys, Yoel Zehaie and Bethel Zehaie, state that the sexual assault allegation was never filed with police or made public. He claims that he tried to extort $100 million from the QB in order to prevent this. – reported by Telegram.
Prescott’s attorney Levi McCassan told ESPN. He said Thursday that he found the timing of the police charges interesting given recent lawsuit filings and separate investigations by law enforcement into extortion claims.

“Obviously they think this will somehow alleviate their criminal liability for attempting this illegal shakedown,” Makasan told the outlet. “That won’t happen and it’s a real disgrace to true survivors of sexual abuse.
“We look forward to working with all law enforcement agencies to bring this case to a just conclusion.”
Bethel Zehaie claimed in a statement earlier this week that Prescott admitted to being with a woman the night of the incident and claimed the NFL quarterback was trying to bully the victim.
“We stand for the truth,” Bethel Zehaie said in a statement. According to KWTX. “Dak and his lawyers are trying to be bullies and forcefully blame the victim. We are not afraid of the truth.
“Dak must be held accountable for his actions. We are not afraid of him or his legal team.”
