Florida sheriff blames ‘idiots in Washington, DC,’ for 3 illegal aliens who allegedly assaulted woman: ‘They shouldn’t be here!’

florida sheriff Wounded “Washington D.C. idiots” failed to maintain border security after three illegal aliens were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman.

“I came here this morning to convey a message, and the message is: don’t think for a second that what’s happening on the Mexican border doesn’t affect us here!” Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick Bradshaw said. at media briefing Wednesday.

“Here are three illegal aliens who shouldn’t be in this country who committed a very serious crime of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman. They shouldn’t be here!” he said. added.

Bradshaw compared the Florida sexual assault case to the brutal murder of 22-year-old college student Laken Riley in Georgia, where an illegal alien was arrested and charged with his death. One report said he had previously been released due to “lack of detention space”.

“Maybe these three people came through Mexico. They didn’t come through here, that’s for sure,” he continued.

“But it’s unconscionable that they can be in this country and commit these types of crimes. The federal government is putting the American people at risk,” Bradshaw added.

“Our intelligence division, working closely with the FBI, has also identified that some of the world’s most dangerous gangs are now coming to Miami from Venezuela,” he continued. “They’re making MS-13 look like elementary school kids. They’re going to stay in Miami. They’re going to go wherever they need to go to do their job.”

Authorities have warned that members of the El Torren de Aragua gang from Venezuela are sneaking into the United States among immigrants. Police believe the gang operated a sex trafficking ring in Indianapolis.

Bradshaw has been the county’s sheriff for 20 years and said the immigration crisis is the worst in his 52 years in law enforcement.

“These idiots in Washington, D.C., need to close this border. If you have a leak in your house and water is pouring everywhere, you don’t grab a bucket and start cleaning. You’re the one who turns the water around.” “By turning off the power, we can first stop the leak. And in order to clean up this mess, we have to stop what’s coming across this border,” he explained.

“And it’s possible,” Bradshaw added.

Friends of the victim said he was deeply traumatized by the alleged kidnapping and assault. Police were able to arrest three illegal immigrants as suspects. One was previously arrested for driving without a license, but prosecutors dropped the charges and he was released.

“My message is, don’t be complacent,” Bradshaw concluded. “Because what happens on the Mexican border affects us.”
