“Fall Guy” stuntman Logan Holladay broke the Guinness World Record set by Adam Curley in 2006 for “Casino Royale.”
Holladay was presented with an official Guinness World Records certificate by Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt during a special screening of the film on March 13 in Los Angeles.
The record Holladay broke was for the most cannon fires fired in a motor vehicle. The previous record was 7 rolls for the “James Bond” movie “Casino Royale.” Holladay managed to break that record with an impressive eight-and-a-half roll in “The Fall Guy.”

As for Holladay, he grew up in the stunt world and continued on a career path similar to that followed by his father.

“Growing up, my father was a stuntman, so I was always influenced by movie sets and the world of stunts,” Holladay said in a press release. “When I found out that production on The Fall Guy was going to start, I knew I had to be a part of it.”

After the first attempt at the record-breaking stunt, the record was not broken. With one car left, they tried again and were able to accomplish the feat.
“For Cannon Roll, after two practice runs and one actual take, there was one car and one shot left,” Holladay said in the release. “And after I did eight and a half rotations, I felt like I would never stop spinning, so I had a pretty good feeling that I had broken the record. It was a surreal moment and I believed in this record. I couldn’t be more proud of what the team accomplished. ”

“The Fall Guy” is based on the 1980s television show of the same name. In the film, Gosling plays a stuntman named Colt Sievers. Blunt stars in the film as a director named Jodi Moreno. Hannah Waddingham, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Stephanie Hsu and Winston Duke will also appear in the upcoming pic.
