Seven inmates at an eastern Kentucky prison have filed a federal lawsuit alleging that facility staff forced them to drink their own urine or use taped guns after they failed drug tests.

Kentucky Department of Corrections spokeswoman Lisa Lamb declined to comment on the lawsuit, but told WDRB that the allegations led to the investigation.
“This incident was thoroughly investigated and multiple disciplinary actions were taken, including termination of the employee,” she said.
He did not provide further details about personnel actions or the investigation.
