A video posted on social media on Friday shows a Minnesota middle school student being beaten by several other students.
At Eagle Ridge Middle School in Savage, Minnesota, the victim was physically attacked when he was pushed back into a locker by multiple students. according to to the New York Post.
The paper said two larger students were seen repeatedly punching the victim as he tried to avoid the attack. Other students who witnessed the violence cheered, according to the footage.

The fight continued to escalate until cameras stopped filming, the New York Post reported.

Eagle Ridge Middle School is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis, and another assault was caught on video at the school last month. In February, two high school girls in Minneapolis got into a violent confrontation during lunch break, a video posted on social media revealed. Minneapolis is where former police officer Derek Chauvin was filmed putting his knee on George Floyd’s neck in 2020. The video sparked Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests across the country, which often turned violent, and sparked a movement to defund the police. Cities are cutting law enforcement budgets.
After Minnesota Democrats passed a bill ordering 40 law enforcement agencies to fire their officers, they tried, in some cases unsuccessfully, to persuade police to return to schools, the Star Tribune reported.
The Daily Caller reached out to the school and police for comment, but did not receive a response in time for publication.
