Goldman Sachs executive Stephanie Cohen resigns

Stephanie Cohen, Goldman Sachs’ global head of platform solutions, on Monday became the latest senior executive to leave the Wall Street giant after a 25-year tenure.

Mr. Cohen joined the bank as an analyst in 1999, was given the prestigious rank of partner in 2014, and was most recently responsible for the bank’s consumer platform, according to an internal memo.

The business has been in the spotlight, especially since Goldman decided to scale back the consumer ambitions long championed by CEO David Solomon.

Cohen, who has a new role at cloud services company Cloudflare, was on leave in June.

His departure marks the departure of Goldman Sachs in recent months, including Jim Esposito, co-head of global banking and markets, Julian Salisbury, head of asset management, and Dina Powell McCormick, former head of sovereigns. It comes after a series of high-profile departures from the company.

Cohen will become Cloudflare’s first chief strategy officer, the cloud connectivity company said.
