As the Timberwolves were on their way to a 114-104 victory over Utah, Edwards hit an all-time shot that left John Collins with a head injury that would likely be viewed tens of millions of times across all media platforms. right.

“Oh my god!” Edwards said while watching the game. He called it the best dunk of his career. Edwards also acknowledges his finger injury in this video.
Edwards is truly a supernova. I remember interviewing him as a high school senior in 2019 for this feature on the origin story of basketball’s next superstar. It’s so cool to think back to that conversation now that his career is taking off.
Edwards is one of the greatest run and jump athletes we’ve ever seen. This is his masterpiece. We can only hope that both players recover from their injuries and return to the court.
