Two Jewish men, ages 65 and 19, were waiting to cross at the north crosswalk at West 100th Street and West End Avenue in Manhattan, wearing “traditional attire, including scarves and hats.” A short time later a passing car threw something at them. According to police, at 9 p.m.

The men told police the object caused temporary pain but left no trace.

The incident marks at least the third possible incident of anti-Semitism on the Upper West Side over the weekend.

On Saturday, the exterior of Effie’s Café, a popular American-Israeli restaurant at 96th Street and Columbus Avenue, was painted with the words “Liberate Gaza” and “Line Here to Support Genocide.” covered in painted spray-painted messages.

Police told the Post that the incident is being investigated by the department’s Hate Crimes Task Force.

The same night, another disturbing incident of vandalism was discovered about a mile away at West 105th Street and Riverside Drive, off Riverside Park.
