Arthur Cazeau fell to the floor during the third set against Marold Maillot and was forced to leave the match. Cazeau had just extended the match by winning the second set 7-5 and was leading 2 games to 1 in the final set.

Cazeau made his first appearance at the Miami Open this year. He has played in seven Grand Slams and made his debut at the Australian Open earlier this year.
