Netflix to feature NFL stars Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams in ‘Receiver’ docuseries

Netflix plans to offer a docuseries on NFL wide receiver as the streaming giant continues to move forward with its sports strategy.

The company announced Tuesday the latest addition to its extensive lineup of sports content, announcing that the eight-episode “Receiver” series will debut over the summer.

According to Netflix, the show is expected to give NFL fans a glimpse into the lives of four professional wide receivers and one tight end on and off the field.

Wide receivers participating in the upcoming series include Davante Adams of the Los Angeles Raiders, Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers, and Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions. . 49ers tight end George Kittle will also be featured.
