A 27-year-old Texas woman went missing during her daily walk with her dog in Houston, police said.

Houston police confirmed to Fox News Digital that Christina Johnson was last seen on March 9th, when she took her 10-year-old mongrel dog, Max, for an evening walk.

Her father, Emmanuel Johnson, told Fox News Digital that he wanted to give his daughter space before contacting local authorities.

“She’s a 27-year-old woman, and I know she’s not going to share everything that’s going on in her life with me,” Johnson said. “But after two days, I had this strange feeling that something was wrong.”

Johnson had just graduated from Alderson-Broaddus University in West Virginia and had decided to move back in with his father after graduation.

Her father said she was a stay-at-home mom who ate most of her meals at home.

“Usually that’s not really her personality,” he said. “She eats all her meals here, and she leaves her credit card and laptop here.

“I’m very concerned about where she is at this point,” Johnson said. She asked, “Where is she eating? Where is she sleeping? That’s very worrying.”

Johnson said one of the scariest moments was when her daughter’s dog, Max, was found without her after nine days.

An elderly man in Washington state reportedly developed symptoms of fentanyl poisoning from a man he met on a dating app.

“I don’t know what caused Max and her separation,” he said. “But that’s the most concerning thing.”

The father said his daughter did not have a cell phone with her when she mysteriously disappeared.

He explained that her cell phone broke a week before she disappeared.

“The problem was about a week before she broke her phone,” Johnson said. “Then her brother came to get her phone fixed and she left the same day.

“The next day he had his phone repaired,” Johnson added. “So, for another day, she would have carried her cell phone with her.”

Mr Johnson said police were conducting a “due diligence”.

“We have seen her and may see her, but we are still investigating where she is,” Johnson said. “She handed out a lot of flyers in the area where she was last seen.”
