Biden Impeachment Inquiry a ‘Sideshow’ — We Need to to ‘Move On’

Outgoing Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) said Thursday on CNN’s “Outfront” that the Republican-led House impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden’s possible involvement in his son Hunter’s business dealings will end. He said it was a “sideshow” that should be done.

“I think the investigation is justified in terms of looking into Hunter Biden’s conduct,” Buck said. I think we need to consider legislation that limits the families of the president and vice president in terms of outside their sphere of influence. ”

He continued, “But yes, I think this investigation has largely come full circle. It may take another four, six, eight weeks, but for the most part, the evidence will come out and the damage will be done.” I think it did happen. The American people need to assess exactly what the impact was there, but we need to move on.”

Buck added: “We need to do a lot better with spending in the bill. For example, we need to do a better job of funding Ukraine. There are a lot of big issues that we need to consider. This is a sideshow and should probably end within the next few weeks.”
