MSNBC host Al Sharpton said Thursday on “The Readout” that former President Donald Trump plans to “sell blessed oil” to raise money to pay his legal judgment.
Host Joy Reid said, “Donald Trump has declared bankruptcy before, I think he’s declared bankruptcy at least five times in the past, and he’s never been ashamed of it. ” he said. Are you surprised that he seems shy to do it now? ”
“I think he’s embarrassed because he’s running for president now, and his entry into politics is a sign that he’s an intelligent person who can bring this country to a better economic position,” Sharpton said. “It was about being a businessman, because you just look at the way he does business.” Well, look how he handles his business. ”
He added: “I don’t think his core cultists will be disliked, but he’s going to turn independent voters, the people he’s trying to attract, and he’s going to run this against Joe Biden. He knows people and even how he handles business.” However, Joe Biden has stabilized the economy and done some very good things. Mr. Sharpton added, “When I was a boy preacher, pitching a tent and claiming Hallelujah was nothing to a con man. He is currently working on a tent revival in Florida. is pitching tents with revival efforts, so we’ll probably be selling blessed oil before this is over.”
