Two-time NBA All-Star Jrue Holiday is battling what he describes as a “dead arm.”

Saturday’s game between the Boston Celtics and the Chicago Bulls was the fourth consecutive game Holiday will miss as he continues to recover from a sprained shoulder.

Injuries usually require rest. However, the Celtics have an 11.5-game lead over the second-place Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference standings, so the team will likely proceed with caution regarding Holiday’s health. .

“I definitely feel something,” Holliday told The Boston Globe. “I still want to play. That’s part of why I play basketball. But it’s also about staying in rhythm. Being out for a long time can sometimes break your rhythm, but I’m good I feel like I’m in good shape.’ And I want to keep playing. ”
