Sauce Gardner addresses antisemitic comments: ‘Not what I’m about’
Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner responded to criticism for controversial comments he made about Jews during a live broadcast over the weekend.
The incident occurred during Gardner’s appearance with popular streamer Adin Ross, who is Jewish, and as part of a conversation about Ross’ ability to obtain a Tesla Cybertruck from another Jewish man, Gardner He said, “You will run the world.”
After receiving backlash online, Gardner attempted to clarify his remarks with two separate but similar comments about It also included things.

“I love everyone, including the Jews.” Gardner first wrote on Tuesday.. “The majority of my agency/marketing team are Jewish and I talk to them almost every day. Perhaps you just took what I said the wrong way, but what I said was meant to be good.”
Gardner went on to clarify in a second post to X earlier Tuesday evening.
“I love all people. Although my intentions were positive, I learned that people are using the very same words I shared for hatred against Jews.” he wrote. “That’s not my intention, and I appreciate those who took the time to educate me on that fact.”
In the original video, which remains on YouTube, Gardner appears hesitant at first before making his comments, adding: “They caused a huge reaction around the world.”

Ross said she was not offended by the comment and laughed when she heard Gardner say it.
The streaming personality also defended Gardner on X in a reply to the Jets star’s post.
“Brother, I’m a Jew. You didn’t do anything wrong, you didn’t say anything wrong, you said Jews run the world in a good way, It’s true, I said you’d be okay, so I’ll protect you. Don’t give in, you fake woke bastards.” Ross wrote.

Gardner is in his third season with the Jets and was named an All-Pro and Pro Bowler in his first two seasons with the team.
