The Nets may be without one of their star players again Wednesday night against the Wizards.
Cam Thomas was listed as questionable on Tuesday after being a late scratch in the Nets’ 96-88 win over the Raptors on Monday.
Interim head coach Kevin O’Ree said the Nets said Thomas experienced “back spasms” during warmups on Monday, citing lower back tightness.
Ollie said after the win that he was unsure of his status as the team’s leading scorer.
“I don’t know yet. I’ll get some extra pillows at the hotel,” he laughed. “Get his back up. We’ll be fine.”
This is the 16th game Thomas has missed, and the Nets are 9-7 without him.
This season, he is averaging 21.5 points on 44.2 percent shooting.
The Nets have 10 games left in the regular season and are six games back of the Hawks in the losing column, so they’ll need Thomas’ help to avoid being eliminated from play-in contention.
Mikal Bridges, who had Monday off and had just 13 points on 5-of-15 shooting, also struggled in the fourth quarter.
Ollie said he begged Bridges to end the game.

He played 37 minutes but was not on injured reserve Tuesday.
“He’s fine. He told me not to take him out of the game,” Ollie said. “I mean, he was going to finish the fourth quarter for us. He did a good job. You know, Mikal is an iron man, like you said, he’s not going to come out. [of] game. I wish I had a chance to get it checked, but I don’t think it’s serious enough to cause any problems. ”
Bridges, who has yet to miss a game in his six-year NBA career, is averaging 20.4 points on 43.8 percent shooting this season.
Keita Bates-Diop (right stress reaction), Cam Johnson (left big toe sprain) and Dennis Smith Jr. (right hip synovitis) remained out Wednesday.
Johnson hit his toe while trying to take a charge against the Knicks on Saturday.
He was seen walking with a limp and initially thought he would be ready for Monday’s game against the Raptors.
