Let’s take a look at the Most Valuable Player odds for both the American League and National League, which most major sportsbooks pretty much agree on.

While the Yankees have two players at the top of the odds board in the AL, the young superstar outfielder is looking to do the same in the National League.

With Shohei Ohtani on the senior circuit, Aaron Judge is now the AL’s de facto MVP candidate.

Judge, the unanimous 2022 AL MVP, played in just 106 games due to a toe injury and finished outside the top 10 in 2023 voting.

Judge will be followed by new teammate Juan Soto, the NL MVP and four-time top-10 finisher who has yet to take home the hardware.

A trio of AL West players, Rangers shortstop Corey Seager, Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez and Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez, round out the top five on BetMGM’s odds board.

In the National League, SD Manufacturer has stated that “Ronald Acuña Jr. loses the award.”

Acuña is aiming to become the first player to win the National League MVP award two years in a row since Albert Pujols in 2008-09.

He will have a lot of competition in the West.

Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman, the Dodgers’ 1-2-3 hitters, are all in the top five of BetMGM’s National League MVP odds board.

Padres outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr., who has the fourth-best odds and will be playing his first full season since 2021, would also be a candidate.
