Justin Thomas is in New York this week. He appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to discuss the Netflix movie. full swing Season 2. After completing his talk show duties, the 15-time PGA Tour winner relaxed by watching the New York Rangers play.
But even with a week off, Thomas still found a way to get trolled by fans.
The production staff saw him at Madison Square Garden during games against the Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers, and of course informed the audience. There are two things athletes do on the jumbotron. Sometimes they wave, sometimes they chug drinks.
The arena showed highlights of the two-time major champion on a screen, then turned the camera on him.
Well, Thomas raised his glass and tried drink his beer.
He started well, but halfway through it went downhill faster than Clark Griswold with his makeshift sled. National Lampoon Family Vacation.
After the confusion, Thomas, his shirt full of beer, waved his finger at the camera. Even though it was a huge failure, he was in good spirits and didn’t seem embarrassed.
The former Alabama Crimson Tide golfer failed the beer chugging test that fans look forward to.
