Comedian Jon Stewart calls out hypocrisy after mocking former President Donald Trump’s civil lawsuit over real estate appraisals on his Comedy Central show, revealing he overvalued his New York City home. I responded to the criticism.
Jon Stewart tried to downplay the revelations in an X-post on Wednesday, claiming his case was “not at all like Trump!” He also used the opportunity to hurl further insults at President Trump, including a false charge of inciting an “insurrection.”

I was caught doing something that bears no resemblance to Trump!” the comedian posted on Wednesday. “What I need to do now is set up a fraudulent university, steal confidential documents, bankrupt a casino, pay hush money, seize genitals, discriminate in housing, cheat in golf, and incite riots.
