Her ex-husband, actor Tim Matheson, announced her death on Wednesday.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jennifer Leake,” the 76-year-old “Virgin River” actor wrote. Facebook.

Leake and Matheson played stepbrothers in the family comedy and were married from 1968 to 1971.

The “Guiding Light” alum passed away on March 18th at his home in Jupiter, Florida.according to her obituaryshe was fighting progressive supranuclear palsy the last years of her life.
In Yours, Mine and Ours, Matheson played Mike, the son of Frank Beardsley, played by Henry Fonda. Leake played the role of Colleen, the daughter of Lucille Ball’s Helen North.

She also appeared in the 1969 films “Eye of the Cat” and 1974’s “The Photographer.”
Leake is survived by her husband and younger brother.
