The tragic discovery of a skeletal corpse in a Westchester County park could help answer lingering questions about last year’s mass shooting in Connecticut, according to a report.
Greenburgh police on March 21 found a body in Lambruck Park near the car where a man was left in critical condition after a June 15 daylight shooting in New Haven, Connecticut. lohud.com reported.
The report said a gun was also found near the skeleton, but it was unclear whether it was related to the person’s death or the 2023 shooting.
However, the car matches the description of the suspect’s car in the 2023 shooting.
according to new haven registerThe shooting occurred just before 11:30 a.m. on Yonge Street in New Haven’s Beaver Hills neighborhood, leaving the victim in critical but stable condition.
The victim later recovered from his injuries.

Last week, New Haven Police Department spokesperson Christian Brookhart told lohud.com that a vehicle found on a path in Greenberg Park is believed to be related to the shooting.
Police are awaiting positive identification of the body.
