With just one win in their past six league games, Leicester CIty’s previously imperious form looks to have deserted them. From their exalted position of looking odds-on certainties for promotion with a 17-point lead, Enzo Maresca’s side have dropped to third in the table behind Ipswich Town and Leeds. They are two points off the pace and out of the automatic promotion places but have a game in hand over the two sides above them.

David Wagner: “There’s no point in looking at the table and making decisions every time we play because things can change in one game,” the Norwich manager said after Friday’s win over Plymouth. “I think it makes perfect sense for us to focus and make sure we produce performances like we have in recent weeks and fight and strive as hard as we did against Plymouth.

“And we have a very thin team, so we have to make sure we stay healthy. I’ve been saying this more often in recent weeks, but in the last game If you look at the members of , I think, again, everyone understands that.

“The end of the season is a very busy time, everyone has already played a lot of games. [Shane] Duffy came back for the first game after his injury, which helps because it’s another body in the building, and this is what we have to do – keep working and stay focused on the next game, which is exciting.”

Enzo Maresca: Asked if the Leicester manager could still finish in the automatic promotion zone after the defeat at Ashton Gate, he replied: “Yes, that’s correct.” “As I said earlier, it’s not good to lose games and drop points at the moment, but we need to be positive.

“First of all, the points we are getting and the performance are there, so we didn’t take any chances. One result can change everything and it could happen quickly. I hope.”

Championship: Leicester City v Norwich City

With just one win in their last six league games, Leicester City appear to have given up on their previous intimidating form. Enzo Maresca’s side went from looking like they were guaranteed promotion with a 17-point lead to falling to third place behind Ipswich Town and Leeds. Although they are out of the automatic promotion range with a two-point difference, there is still a battle against the top two teams.

After losing to Bristol City at the weekend, they have won back-to-back games against a struggling trio in the Championship – Rotherham, Stoke and Plymouth Argyle – and will now host Norwich City, who are in great form. David Wagner’s side will face a tough test of their collective strength at the King Power Stadium this afternoon as they look to cement their place in the play-off spots. Kick-off at Leicester is at 12:30pm BST, but we’ll bring you all the team news and extra information in between.
