During this week’s broadcast of FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) said that as soon as articles of impeachment against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are introduced by the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. He asked that the Senate take up the matter.
Mr. Blackburn warned that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) was planning to introduce articles of impeachment. But she argued that an impeachment trial, as mandated by the U.S. Constitution, was the appropriate next step.

“All Americans should be outraged by this,” she continued. “The first problem is that nearly 10 million illegal aliens are entering this country on Joe Biden’s watch. Alejandro Mayorkas lied to Congress. He said the border was closed. That’s not the case. He’s following Joe Biden’s orders on this. Every state will be affected by this. He should follow the instructions of the U.S. Constitution and face an impeachment trial. ”
