Former Republican presidential candidate and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswami said Thursday he was “truly honored” to receive the Fearless Fighter for Freedom Award from America’s Future Inc. and its board chairman, General Michael Flynn. He told Breitbart News.
The event was held at former President Donald Trump’s luxury seaside resort and club, Mar-a-Lago, and the organization also honored the 45th president.
“It was truly an honor,” Ramaswamy said in a statement to Breitbart News. “General Flynn is a patriot who cares deeply about our country, and receiving this award from him makes me feel even more committed to doing whatever I can to save our country this year.”
“We are on a precipice and we must all step up and do our part, just as our Founding Fathers did 250 years ago,” he added.

In presenting Mr. Ramaswamy with the award at America’s Future’s 78th anniversary celebration, Mr. Flynn said that the 38-year-old, the youngest Republican presidential candidate in the party’s 170-year history, “now has the honor of taking the name. It’s starting to take shape,” he said. “For the future of the United States,” he said, predicting that he would win more awards in the future.
