The Edinburgh-based ‘Harry Potter’ author, in a series of posts to The large number of biological males who do this were called “men.”

In the LGBTQ community, many activists consider this a serious social and cultural hate crime. In fact, old-school feminists like Rowling are consistently labeled as “TERFs.”

TERF is an acronym coined by the LGBTQ community that stands for “Trans Exclusive Radical Feminist.” Basically, if you are a feminist but still believe that biologically we have wombs and menstruation and that real men have penises, if you choose to express these views. , you could be labeled a TERF. In addition, many in the community feel disgusted when transgender people mistakenly refer to someone as “she” or “he” when they identify as the opposite. It is assumed that you are holding it.

“If sex isn’t real, you won’t be attracted to people of the same sex. If sex isn’t real, then the lived reality of women all over the world will be erased. I know transgender people and , I love you, but erasing the concept of sex will prevent many people from speaking meaningfully about their lives,” Rowling previously posted on social media.

The author argued that the ban on truthful depictions of biological sex marks the death of “freedom of speech and religion.”

But Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf said the new law was aimed at countering “the rise in hatred”. BBC report.

A new offense known as ‘inciting hatred’ based on age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or intersex status has been introduced by the Hate Crimes and Public Order Act 2021. Oddly enough, biological women are not protected by this law. as a whole. But they claim the Scottish Government “intends to redress this through clear misogyny legislation”.

Rowling has long opposed various forms of transgender activism. On the day of her law enforcement, she gave her opinion on the subject.

“Scottish MPs appear to care more about the feelings of the men who carry out their ideas of femininity than the actual rights and freedoms of women and girls, even if they are misogynistic or opportunistic.” she posted.

“Unless we are allowed to refer to men as men, it is impossible to accurately portray and address the reality of violence and sexual violence against women and girls, or to address the current attacks on the rights of women and girls.” ” Rowling continued. “Freedom of speech and religion will be lost in Scotland if accurate description of biological sex is criminalized.”

Rowling also cited a number of recent criminal cases carried out by people who identify as transgender, including the kidnapping and assault of underage women in the Scottish Borders by transgender rapists Andrew Miller and Ira Bryson. It also attracted attention.

“I am currently abroad, but if what I have written here constitutes a crime under the terms of the new law, I look forward to being arrested when I return to the birthplace of the Scottish Enlightenment.” Rowling concluded. .
