This is not the first time Siobhan has mentioned Anna’s health, as earlier in the season, she gave her a briefcase containing a vial of red liquid to nurse Anna back to health.
In this episode, Siobhan also confronts the director of Anna’s film, who ends up dying after threatening to reveal damaging information to the press. But Siobhan’s biggest moment comes at the end when she slaps Anna for threatening to leave the film industry.
“I think I need to quit. I didn’t realize I was signing up for all this. I wanted to tell a story and maybe get a little bit of attention. Wearing couture. It’s a crime. “I never thought I would get stalked or that Babette would die,” Anna said as they ate dinner. “How do I bring a baby into a world where no one is safe?”
“That’s what being a mother is all about,” Siobhan replies.
“Just let me go. I can’t keep campaigning for this shitty Oscar,” Anna insists.
Siobhan loses her patience with her client and slaps Anna sharply across the face, causing Anna to squirm in pain.
“I won’t let you say another word about quitting. Would you let go of your dreams to protect your baby? Do you think that’s what your baby wants? An unsatisfied mother who secretly resents her own existence. Is that why your mom died? I don’t want to hurt you, but what I really don’t want is for you to hurt yourself,” Siobhan says convincingly.
The publicist then gives a speech about the sacrifices mothers often make for their children, and tells Anna to stop “whining” about things that scare her.
Well, nothing beats this! Despite the show’s intention to draw viewers’ attention to Cara Delevingne’s kinky looks, Kardashian once again stole the spotlight. It’s clear there’s something off about Siobhan, but she never fails to bring drama, fashion, and sass. But maybe she should stop hitting pregnant women next time…
