Murder investigation launched after boy, 17, fatally stabbed in Manchester | UK news

Police have launched a murder investigation after a teenager was stabbed to death in the Moss Side area of ​​Manchester.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) described the killing as a “senseless loss of life” and promised to make a visible response to the area in the coming days.

On Thursday at 4:15 p.m., officers were called to reports of a stabbing on Raby Street. The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was taken to the hospital, where he died shortly after.

No arrests have been made, and police are appealing for information from cellphones, in-car cameras, and doorbell footage. A GMP spokesperson said specially trained officers were assisting the victim’s family.
