According to a staff report, Holly said the plane had been on the tarmac for about 20 minutes waiting to be assigned a terminal gate when she heard the unmistakable sound of a passenger urinating into a cup.
The newspaper said the man was “visibly very intoxicated” and spilled urine on the flight attendant as he exited the plane.

However, the accident with the attendant was not his fault. Australian Federal Police said in a statement that officers removed the suspect from the plane after he “urinated in a cup while seated.”
Air New Zealand said it does not comment on individual incidents. He said he bans five to 10 customers each month for disruptive behavior such as drinking alcohol.
