Is Odell Beckham Jr. taking his talents to South Beach?
Last month, at an NFL league meeting, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said the team had made an offer to Beckham, who spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens.
According to ESPN, Miami is making “significant efforts” to sign the former Giants wide receiver, but the two sides have not reached an agreement.
Beckham signed a one-year, $16 million contract with Baltimore as a free agent last year.
The 31-year-old is coming off a somewhat disappointing season, catching 35 passes for 565 yards.
This is his first year back after missing all of 2022 due to a torn ACL during the Super Bowl against the Los Angeles Rams.
Even before his injury, Beckham’s production has plummeted since 2019, the last year he eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards as a member of the Cleveland Browns.
Picked 12th overall in the Giants’ first round in 2014, Beckham emerged as a star early in his career, making the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons.
Beckham, known for his playmaking ability and highlight-reel catches, was plagued by injuries in his final two seasons with the Giants and was traded to Cleveland before the 2019 season.
The Browns released Beckham midway through the 2021 season and he was acquired by the Rams, and despite suffering a torn ACL during the game, he helped Los Angeles win the 2022 Super Bowl.

As a result, Beckham was forced to sit out the following season before returning in 2023.
Now, he’s looking for a new home again and could be a good fit in Miami, where Tyreek Hill posted an old photo of the two wide receivers hugging on Friday, making the rumors even bigger.
But Beckham quickly shot down the idea that a deal was done, posting that he had not signed a new contract.
