Especially considering he doesn’t think Trump and Biden are all that different.
“Trump and Biden are like mirror images of each other,” he tells Rubin. “They have different temperaments, rhetoric, and personalities, but they are not much different when it comes to issues.”
While their positions on issues like gun control and abortion differ, neither seems very focused on the issues that are truly hurting Americans.
“The big problem is the $34 trillion debt that could sink our country,” he explains, noting that another big problem is the prevalence of chronic disease.

Instead of focusing on the issues that are killing Americans, Trump and Biden are trying to leverage polarization to win.
“They are selected by polarization,” he explains. “If you want to talk about an attack on our democracy, the great danger to our democracy is that we have this toxic polarization that is probably worse than at any time today since the Civil War. be torn apart.”
