A new poll shows former President Donald Trump’s favorability rating among Latinos is increasing, while President Biden’s favorability rating is decreasing.

Biden’s re-election campaign recently released an ad focused on Latinos and echoing President Trump’s past controversial comments on immigration, including saying they were “poisoning the blood” of Americans. denounced.
“This election is between me and a man named Trump. This is a man who calls Latinos criminals, drug dealers, and rapists,” Biden said in the ad, adding that he is running against a man named Trump in Arizona. Axios-Ipsos poll results show a slight decline in the number of Latinos who say it’s a “good” time to be “Latino or Hispanic” in the U.S. in March, down from 56% in June. It dropped to 55%.
Survey respondents also said they were most concerned about inflation (35%), crime and violence (34%) and immigration (28%) ahead of the November election.
Latinos are also more likely to say Democrats represent them than Republicans, at 36 percent and 32 percent, respectively. The survey found that respondents expressed less confidence in Biden, especially when looking at his handling of issues.
The Axios/Ipsos poll surveyed 1,012 Latino/Hispanic adults and was conducted in collaboration with Noticias Telemundo from March 22-24. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.6 percentage points at a 95 percent confidence level.
