Morgan Wallen’s arrest Sunday night had nothing to do with his ex-girlfriend’s sudden elopement, Fox News Digital has confirmed.

A person familiar with the matter says there is “zero accuracy” to the idea that Warren threw a chair off the roof of a Nashville bar in protest of KT Smith and Luke Skornavacco’s marriage. told FOX News Digital.

Smith and Skornavacco surprised fans by eloping on April 3, just days after getting engaged. The couple announced their engagement on March 29, shortly after sharing a selfie showing off their marriage certificate from the Wilson County Clerk’s Office.

Warren was arrested Sunday after allegedly throwing a chair from the sixth floor of Chief’s, a bar supported by Eric Church in Nashville, Tennessee.

The “Last Night” singer is “fully cooperating” with the investigation, a representative for the musician told Fox News Digital.

“At 10:53 p.m. Sunday evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested. downtown nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is fully cooperating with authorities,” Warren’s attorney Warrick Robinson said.

Warren was taken to the jail at around 12:36 a.m. local time. The “Whiskey Glasses” singer was released around 3:30 a.m. and his bail was set at $15,250, according to the Nashville Metro Police Department.

“Country artist Morgan Wallen, 30, was arrested early today on charges of 3 cents for felony reckless endangerment and 1 cent for misdemeanor criminal mischief for allegedly throwing a chair from the roof at Chief’s Bar Sun. ,” Metro Nashville police wrote to X. The chair landed on Broadway near two MNPD officers. His bail was $15,250. ”

Warren is scheduled to appear in court on May 3.
