Pastor: Near-Death Experiences of Heaven Further Prove the Bible

A pastor and author who has studied and verified over 1,000 reports of near-death experiences believes that these types of events further prove God and the Bible.

“And when they come back, they talk about experiencing the life to come and how it’s more real than anything they’ve ever experienced in this world,” he continued.

according to CBN NewsBurke’s latest book includes numerous interviews with people around the world who have faced near-death experiences.

“They’re seeing and experiencing the God of the Bible,” he says. “And we look not only at the story of God’s love as told throughout Biblical history, but also at the heart, character, mystery, and majesty of God.”

But at the same time, Burke points out that there are many others who are skeptical of this kind of story. He said one of the reasons for this is that people do not understand that “these are testimonies” that provide evidence of God, and another reason is that humans have a limited understanding of near-death experiences. He said there is.

“The way I would describe the situation is this: Imagine that our entire existence lived on a flat black and white picture painted on the wall of our house. ” Burke said. “Death means separation. Your soul leaves your body. So imagine when you die, you peel away that two-dimensional black and white painting and enter a three-dimensional world of color. Imagine coming out and then being pushed back again and having to describe a three-dimensional world of color versus two-dimensional black-and-white terms.”

The pastor explained that people who experience near-death experiences witness the “reality of God” in an “other-dimensional” way. He argued that the similarities between these experiences support the Bible and serve as evidence against unbelievers.

“When I first heard about this, I was agnostic,” Burke said. “So, as an engineer, I heard these experiences and I started thinking, ‘This might be evidence.’ Then I started reading the scriptures, and then I started seeing evidence and I started having faith.”

Burke not only hopes that non-Christians will see God through these experiences, but he also hopes that Christians will be able to learn important Biblical lessons through them, such as God’s love for humanity. I’m here.
